Busiest: Weekend 10 am–2 pm
Slowest: Weekday 8–10 am
Paved seawall. Start at the visitor centre. You can turn around anytime. Benches and restrooms along the way.

Lake Louise shoreline

Best for: A lakeside path you can keep as short as you like
Busiest: Summer 9 am–4 pm
Slowest: Early morning, June or September
Packed gravel along the lake. The first stretch is the easiest. Parking fills early in summer.

Maple Park loop

Slowest: Weekday 1–3 pm
Six-tenths of a mile, flat, paved. Benches every few minutes. Restrooms by the gazebo. Good with a walker.

Busiest: July–August midday

Short walk from the parking lot. Pavement and a viewing area. Can be icy in winter — poles help.

Spruce Bog Boardwalk

About 1.5 km of boardwalk. Firm, even, and well marked. Parking at the trailhead on Highway 60.

Quarter mile of boardwalk with handrails. Firm and even. Restroom at the start. Birds in the morning.

Paved and boarded. Benches every block. Start near the Maritime Museum. Easy with a walker.

The belvedere has a wide terrace. The walk from the parking lot is short. The longer trails down are steeper.

High Park trails

Stick to the paved roads in the park if you want even ground. Grenadier Pond has benches. Some side trails are roots and hills.
