How it works
Six short steps. Nothing here charges you just for reading.
1. Sign in
Use Google, or your phone. Phone sign-in is two steps: a PIN you choose, then a code. There is no email sign-in.
2. Look around
Open Market and search. Tap an ad for the photos, the price, and where it is. The heart saves it. You can hide an ad from your own screen with the X. That does not delete it for everyone.
3. Message
On the ad, tap Message. The reply shows in Inbox, with a number when something is unread. Chat stays on this device until accounts carry it over.
4. Meet safely
Pick a public spot. Look at the item before you pay. Cash at the meetup is fine. Card payment through Stripe is for when that is turned on. We do not use PayPal.
5. Post your own
Post needs a sign-in and a verified phone. Run Market Check first. It compares similar ads already on this market. It does not look up eBay or Facebook.
6. Gatherings, trails, jobs
Events shows what is still coming up. Past nights stay hidden unless you ask for them. Health and Trails start with places near you, or near Edmonton if location is off. Jobs wraps its category buttons so they stay on the page.
